Quintus Aquilus: Hello, my name is Quintus Aquilus, born in 47 BC, and I am a seasoned gladiator. It being 27 BC now, I'm 20 years old. I'm a Secutor ("chaser") gladiator and I'm known just as Aquilus in the arena. Some of you might've heard of me from the arenas around Rome. Even though I remember my family back in Gaul (I was taken away at age 10), I enjoy the benefits of better medical attention than, well, most Roman citizens, as a gladiator. It isn't a bad life for me. As long as I survive. And to any emperor watching the fights: "Caesar, Morituri te salutamus!"
